Making it through the week is half the battle, now let’s thrive.
Make a plan, but keep it loose. Everyone throws something out of their planned curriculum or activities when it doesn’t serve them. Don’t hold on to something that does not serve your school.

Put your body in motion. Take a walk, have a dance party, make it work for you.

Put something on autopilot. Freezer meals, chores, yard work. If you are transitioning from public to homeschooling this is a great time to assign chores (home ec/life skills).

Go outside. Even on the cloudy days. The light will boost your endorphins or at least make you happy you’re not waiting on the bus.

Connect with others in a homeschool community or page. You may find that you are an expert in something others need and no questions are new. Those seasoned homeschoolers are worth more than gold.

Enjoy your Saturday and come back tomorrow for my favorite tips to chase away the Mondays.
